Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Spa Manager with an SC Esthetician License to manage the Charleston location for FACE FOUNDRIE, a franchise in the spa facial bar category. The Charleston shop is in Mount Pleasant and is the first in the Charleston market.
The ideal candidate is motivated, hardworking, and positive, with a proven track record for meeting and exceeding spa sales through staff recruiting, productivity development, and service promotions. The Spa Manager is responsible for creating, cultivating, and promoting an environment that maintains and exceeds standards of excellence in guest services, client retention skills, staff technical proficiency, and professional recommendations. The Spa Manager reports to the franchise owner, and they serve as the primary contact for all salon personnel.

- The Spa Manager is responsible for creating an environment that maintains and exceeds standards of excellence in guest services, client retention skills, staff technical proficiency, and professional recommendations.
- The Spa Manager reports to the owner, and they serve as the primary contact for all salon personnel.
- Lead by example, demonstrating high standards for customer service, image standards, and consistently executing FACE FOUNDRIÉ expectations.
- Meet or exceed financial metrics including service revenue, average ticket, guest count, guest retention, rebooking, membership sales, retail revenue, retention/turnover, and contribution goals.
- Identify opportunities for growth within staffing to increase average ticket and rebooking.
- Perform services on guests and lead by example.
- Grow employee productivity through teaching and coaching, establishing clear vision of individual, team, and personal goals.
- Hire, coach, and mentor staff, verbalizing steps to achieve goals and differentiate coaching vs. mentoring as needed.
- Identify skill development needs for each staff member and determine appropriate resources.
- Ensure all technical product training classes are attended.
- Conduct 90‑day probationary reviews for all new staff.
- Place and check in supply orders timely and within budget, avoiding shortages.
- Conduct verbal and technical interviews to identify appropriate talent for salon growth.
- Assist with social media and marketing events.
- Help forecast sales, growth trajectories, and expansion plans.
- 3 or more years of significant experience in Spa Management of all personnel including recruitment, training, product knowledge and skills development, loss prevention, performance management, safety, recognition, and legal compliance.
- Strong drive and self‑directed, capable of identifying and executing opportunities with limited oversight.
- Proficient written and oral communication skills, with strong listening, comprehension, and appropriate communication method selection.
- Strong organizational skills, planning for deadlines and projects, allocating resources, and effective cross‑organizational communication.
- Critical thinking, open‑mindedness, gathering relevant information, raising questions, and effective communication about problems and solutions.
- Comfort with technology; experience with Google‑Suite, Microsoft products, retail POS systems, and social media platforms.
- Located in the Charleston area with flexibility to visit Minneapolis for training as needed.
Job Types: Full‑Time Hourly or Salary Based on experience (plus bonuses on sales and goals)
Availability: Some Nights and Weekends are required
License: South Carolina Esthetics License is required
Experience: Spa Manager 3+ years (preferred) – Esthetics Experience 3‑5 years (preferred, not required)
