Parttime fillin caregiver

Visiting Angels, America’s Choice in Homecare, is seeking In Home Aides, both CNA’s and experienced caregivers in Dorchester, Berkeley and Charleston Counties. Work part‑time, days, evenings, weekends, or even overnights per current client roster. Provides personal one‑on‑one care to the client. Ongoing need to fill this role.

• 2‑hour to 12‑hour shifts available per current client roster
• Choose days or times you are willing to work

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license, working vehicle, up‑to‑date insurance, and ability to commute
• Must adhere to client plans of care
• Must have flexibility with schedules per client needs
• Preferred: one year of in‑home caregiver experience
• Good communication and active listening skills between clients/families and staff
• Ability to stay calm in emergent situations and inform staff of any change to client status
• Pass background and drug screening

• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility
• Provide medication reminders
• Assist with personal care and hygiene
• Prepare light meals according to dietary restrictions
• Transport clients to and from shops, pharmacy or appointments
• Perform light housekeeping duties
• Be a pleasant, engaging, and supportive companion

• One year proven experience as an in‑home caregiver (preferred)
• Knowledge and demonstration of DME such as Hoyer lift, wheelchairs, transfer bench, walker/training available
• Excellent knowledge of emergency response; CPR preferred
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
• Respectful and compassionate
• Good time management skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

NO CNA LICENSE REQUIRED!

$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
