Behavior Technician​/RBT

We are seeking highly motivated individuals with a passion and desire to make a difference in the life of children with autism in Asheville, North Carolina. Services may be provided in clinic or Home and Community-based settings.

• Provide home, community and clinic services for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
• Introduce safe and appropriate replacement behaviors and reinforcers.
• Follow the treatment plan goals and interventions utilizing sound judgment and seek out appropriate consultation.
• Collect behavior data and record data in Central Reach after each session.
• Participate in training and clinical supervision.
• Work with and under the supervision of Board-Certified Behavior Analysts.

• Required:
  
  40 hour RBT Course or Registered Behavior Technician Certification (RBT).
• Required:
  
  Valid driver’s license and transportation.
• Preferred:
  High School Diploma, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Service Field with a current RBT Certification.
• All non‑registered BTs are required to obtain their RBT within 60 days of hire.

The physical demands described here are representative and not all inclusive. The employee is regularly required to talk or hear and frequently required to stand; using hands and fingers; lifting, pushing, pulling up to 25 lbs. may also be required.

• Travel between client’s homes will be required.
• Must be available to work afternoons and evenings until 6:30 pm.

Up to $26 hourly.
