Medical Materiel Specialist I – Goldbelt Apex LLC
Job Overview:
This position is contingent upon the successful award of a contract currently under bid. The Medical Materiel Specialist I shall include, but are not limited to general warehousing tasks, customer support, requisition, shipping, receiving, building medical kits, inventory management, Quality Assurance (QA), cargo preparation and deployment, medical controlled items stored in a secure location, operation of various materials handling equipment, and updating DoD MMIS records.
Responsibilities- Responsible for the logistical oversight and inventory management of the 27 Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear (CBRN) Response Enterprise to ensure precise SLEP/DMLSS statistics and effectively communicate all SLEP related updates to affected units, AFMED, and NGB/SGX.
- Conduct monthly reviews and provide monthly reports to the COR of SLEP and DMLSS inventory records to ensure accuracy and program compliance.
- Act as the Logical SLEP coordinator.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Track and document the usage of medical materials.
- Assist in the procurement of medical supplies and equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of logistics field experience (preferably in Medical Logistics); familiarity with and ability to navigate/utilize MMIS.
- Must be able to pass client background screening for security clearance.
- Travel may be required.
- Knowledge of medical supplies and equipment is preferred.
