Tribe Clinical Research is seeking an experienced and highly organized Clinical Research Assistant. The Clinical Research Assistant will be primarily responsible for assisting Clinical Research Coordinators and Principal Investigators in conducting Phase II, III and IV clinical trials within internationally accepted standards of knowledge and understanding of the research process and related regulations. Since this is primarily a customer contact position, it requires an outgoing, friendly personality and someone who enjoys working with a diverse population of people.

Primary Accountabilities:
  • Obtain various samples, as necessary
  • Detailed record keeping, data entry and verification
  • Medical Record Review
  • Protocol compliance/documentation
  • Patient relations
  • Sponsor relations/communication
  • Scheduling
  • Process and ship biological samples, as necessary
  • Data mine for potential study candidates
  • Discuss studies with families and assist with recruitment and scheduling
  • Assist with continuous quality improvement and auditing to ensure protocol compliance
Physical Requirements:

This position may require travel, lifting (up to 50 pounds), sitting, standing, and walking associated with a normal clinical research / physician office environment. This position requires the ability to frequently ascend and descend stairs throughout the workday. A person in this position may be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, infectious diseases, blood/bodily fluids, and disease-bearing specimens.
