A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the upcoming school year in Charleston, SC. This contract role serves a K-12 student population and runs from January through late May. The selected candidate will provide essential speech-language services within the public school setting.
Responsibilities- Conducting comprehensive assessments and evaluations
- Developing and managing individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Delivering direct speech therapy services to students across grades K-12
- Collaborating with educators and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Valid South Carolina state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required; no pending licensure, clinical fellowship, or SLPA candidates considered
- Experience working with school-age children, especially in K-12 settings
- Ability to manage caseload demands including documentation and compliance
This role involves a standard 37.5-hour workweek, Monday through Friday, with exact school assignments to be determined. The position requires on-site presence in Charleston.
