Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM

• Patient ratio of 1:5

• 4-5 weekend shifts required per 4-week period with holiday rotation

• Float within scope to meet facility needs and between like units/sister facilities

• 1 year of experience required

• First-time travelers accepted

• South Carolina or Multi State/Compact RN license required

• BLS certification required

• ACLS and NIH certifications preferred

• 24 hours of orientation required

• Care for adult and geriatric patients on 23-bed inpatient unit

• Manage patients with general neurology conditions, medical stroke, and epilepsy monitoring

• Handle diagnoses including Parkinson's, multiple sclerosis, neuromuscular diseases, seizures and strokes

• Support overflow of neurosurgical patients and spine surgeries

• May be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June through November)

• Complete approximately 4 hours of non-billable modules pre-start
