THE ROLE

Our hotel team is seeking a motivated, and energetic Maintenance Technician to join the Maintenance Department and be responsible for the upkeep and repair of a hotel's physical structure, equipment, and grounds.

What we will ask of you:

* Perform maintenance and repairs, and preventative maintenance, to all areas of the hotel.

* Service hallways, public areas, and rooms as needed along with all other tasks as assigned.

* Complete all maintenance requests and tasks as assigned for the day.

* Visually inspect public areas and overall resort for cleanliness, appearance, and safety.

* Maintain a clean and organized maintenance shop and for the security of the hotel inventory and assets such as tools, supplies, furniture, fixtures, and equipment.

* Respond quickly and efficiently to all guest requests;
Practice chemical safety rules and follows procedures for needles and other hazardous materials.

* Report all suspicious persons, activities, or hazardous conditions to the Maintenance Manager.

* Follow all Lost and Found protocols.

* Maintain high standards of guest relations when in contact with the guest.

* Ability to order supplies, to receive instructions for the day and/or to read equipment manuals including safety information.

Requirements for Success:

* Have a positive energy, be ready to assist fellow support staff and work as a team player

* Prior maintenance experience is preferred.

* Good communication and multitasking skills.

* Ability to assist in all maintenance duties

* Additional education, training, or certification preferred

* Must be able to work days, nights, weekends and holidays

* Ability to constantly stand and walk with occasional stooping, kneeling, ascending, reaching, pushing, pulling, or lifting
