Job Description Overview SOSi is seeking a People Soft Payroll Functional Analyst responsible for the design, configuration, implementation, and ongoing support of People Soft HCM Payroll. This role is central to ensuring accurate, compliant, and efficient payroll processing for our customer. As part of this initiative, you will collaborate with HR, Benefits, and Finance teams to design and implement Payroll solutions, including Payroll Work Center deployment, integrations, and reporting.

Job Duties
* Configure and maintain People Soft NA Payroll modules, including pay rules, deductions, base benefits, and tax compliance.

* Ensure the system adheres to federal, state, and local payroll regulations, as well as organizational policies.

* Leverage People Soft Work Centers to streamline payroll processes and improve user productivity.

* Support quarterly and year-end activities, including tax updates, W-2 processing, and compliance reporting

* Analyze payroll business processes and recommend system enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy.

* Troubleshoot and resolve payroll system issues, including calculation errors, data discrepancies, and integration challenges.

* Collaborate with technical teams to implement patches, updates, and customizations.

* Provide subject matter expertise (SME) on People Soft Payroll and related modules, including U.S. Federal (USF) Payroll functionality if applicable.

* Deliver training and support to end users to enhance system adoption and proficiency.

* Develop and execute test plans for system upgrades, patches, and new configurations.

* Validate payroll results to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with organizational policies.

* Create and maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures.

* Develop and generate payroll reports and dashboards to support decision-making and compliance monitoring.

* Monitor payroll system compliance with labor laws, tax regulations, and organizational policies. Qualifications

Minimum Requirements
* Bachelor's degree with 3-5+ years of experience as a People Soft HCM/Payroll Analyst.

* Extensive experience with People Soft Payroll modules, including configuration, implementation, and support.

* Strong understanding of payroll processes, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.

* Proficiency in SQL and People Soft Query for data analysis and reporting.

* Experience with People Soft Work Centers to enhance workflow and operational efficiency.

* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or collaboratively.

* Strong communication skills to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

* Top Secret clearance is required, or the ability to obtain one.

Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with Fluid UI for Payroll and Work Center enhancements.

* Knowledge of Leave Management, Base Benefits, and Time & Attendance integration with Payroll.

* Experience in payroll year-end processing (W-2, ACA)

* Familiarity with cloud-hosted People Soft environments.

* Exposure to automated testing tools and payroll process automation.

* Strong understanding of payroll security, roles, permissions, and audit controls. Additional Information Work Environment

* Core time of operation are Monday through Friday during normal business hours.

* May be requested to work evenings and weekends to meet program and contract needs.
