Position: Senior DevSecOps Engineer with Security Clearance
Senior Dev Sec Ops  Engineer (TS/SCI) – Charleston, SC Insight Global is seeking a Senior Dev Sec Ops  Engineer with an active TS/SCI clearance to join a high-impact team supporting a Federal cybersecurity modernization initiative. This is an opportunity to lead secure, cloud-native development and deployment in one of the most mission-critical environments in the country.
As a Senior Dev Sec Ops  Engineer, you will architect and implement cutting-edge solutions that enable multi-cloud deployment pipelines, secrets management, and environment observability—all while ensuring compliance with the strictest security standards. You’ll work in a fast-paced, agile environment alongside engineers, architects, and cybersecurity experts to deliver secure, scalable, and resilient platforms that protect national security.

What You’ll Do:

Design and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC) for consistent, automated provisioning of infrastructure and applications.
Build cloud-agnostic deployment pipelines across AWS and Azure.
Implement observability frameworks for telemetry, monitoring, and data fusion.
Enforce compliance with NIST 800-53, DISA STIGs, and DoD cloud mandates.
Establish secure cloud infrastructure services, IAM, and network security controls.
Develop automation scripts to improve efficiency and reliability.
Operate as a self-starter with a strong bias for action and ownership. Required

Skills & Experience:

5–10 years as a Dev Sec Ops  Engineer in cloud or hybrid environments.
Deep expertise in AWS and Azure.
Advanced skills in Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes.
Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines and Linux administration (RHEL8 preferred).
Knowledge of secure image development, NIST SP 800-53 Rev. 5, DISA STIGs, RMF, and Zero Trust architectures.
Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, Power Shell, or Go).
Active TS/SCI clearance.
Experience managing Git Lab. Nice to Have:
Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
Custom Helm Chart development.

Experience with Rancher or Open Shift.
Service Mesh solutions (Istio, Linkerd, Consul).
Container security tools (Aqua, Prisma Cloud, Trivy).
Secrets management solutions (Hashi Corp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager). Compensation: $85/hr to $105/hr exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
