• Manage a full caseload of workers' compensation defense files from start to finish.
• Represent employers, insurance carriers, and self-insured businesses.
• Draft and file all necessary legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Attend hearings, mediations, and other proceedings.
• Litigate cases before the South Carolina Workers’ Compensation Commission.
• Handle appeals to the Circuit Court and through the SC Supreme Court.

• License: Must have a JD from an accredited law school and be an active member in good standing of the SC Bar.
• Experience: 0-4 years of legal experience.
• Ideal (But Not Required): Previous workers' compensation or defense experience is a plus.
• Core Traits: Must possess a strong work ethic, excellent organizational skills, and a "show up" mentality. We are seeking a self-starter who is detail-oriented and collaborative.
• Skills: Strong legal writing, research, and communication skills are essential.
