Shape the future today. Mercedes‑Benz Vans is developing the mobility of tomorrow. This role assists the Manager in planning and organizing activities related to the availability of USMCA sourced Part‑by‑Part material, coordinating supply among production, purchasing and suppliers.

To assist the Manager in planning and organizing Mercedes‑Benz Vans activities related to the availability of USMCA sourced Part‑by‑Part material. Coordinate supply among production, purchasing, and suppliers.

• Develops and implements objectives with assigned suppliers regarding parts supply, and ensures that these objectives are kept.
• Formulates and implements a supply chain strategy with assigned suppliers, including coordination of delivery dates and quantities, and countermeasure plans for unforeseeable events.
• Provides and directs alternate plans for abnormal conditions (work stoppages at a supplier, material shortages, rejections, new priorities, etc.).
• Maintains a high degree of integrity and fairness in transactions with assigned suppliers / logistics service providers and regularly monitors activity to ensure consistency.
• Develops relationships with assigned USMCA suppliers.
• Conducts VDA audits, capacity management checks, and quality checks with USMCA suppliers.
• Analyzes capacity at suppliers and compares against production program; develops strategies and counter‑measures with Supplier, Purchasing and Cost Planning in case of bottlenecks.
• Escalates issues with local suppliers to resolve shipping, quality, damage, and internal problems at supplier location.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or a related engineering field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in Supply Chain Management and/or Supplier Quality.
