Senior Manager, Strategic Sourcing –Design & Construction (D&C)

We have an immediate opening for a full-time Senior Manager, Strategic Sourcing –Design & Construction (D&C). As a key member of our Center of Excellence team, you will be responsible for leading and managing varying engagements within the D&C categories essential for operations and future capital projects. As an integral part of the team, you will deliver maximum value to our client by leading sourcing events (Direct Negotiations, RFx, etc.)

and work with stakeholders to make final decisions regarding the awarding of contracts to suppliers. This role will report to the Managing Director, Sourcing & Procurement.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a Design & Construction expert in the space of sourcing construction sourcing execution, leveraging skills and experience learned directly in the field and project specific workflow and management techniques.
• Analyze the Capital Delivery Supply Chain for specific sourcing and procurement opportunities, propose them to clients, enroll them in acceptance in light of market intelligence, delivery model, means and methods, schedule logic and business needs.
• Proven experience managing sourcing and procurement events across the Design and Construction supply chain workflow which spans from conceptual master planning through commissioning, turnover, regulatory and owner acceptance.
• Desire and aptitude to utilize and adopt AI technologies, LLM's as an extension of your skills and experience to optimize workflow, project execution and work product.
• Develop cost savings and strategic sourcing projects while ensuring business continuity and high level of supplier performance.
• Manage spend, supplier, and market data from client and Logic Source resources to effectively analyze both savings opportunity and value chain impacts.
• Lead all levels of supplier market RFI / RFP activities, including execution, readouts and business case implications. Meet with potential participants, both incumbents and non-incumbents, answer RFP related questions from vendors, analyze RFP results and support final vendor(s) awards.
• Drive annual productivity improvements in each category of spend by developing and ensuring implementation of ideas to optimize total cost of ownership (TCO) for spend categories.
• Support development of new policies and procedures to drive savings and lead organizational and operational change management within managed categories of spend.
• Leverages Logic Source's Center of Excellence (COE) category experts through the sourcing process to assess market conditions, spend leverage opportunities, benchmarking data, RFP builds, and related activities.
• Support as well as lead sourcing events, including vendor sourcing, vendor and contract negotiations.
• Bring sourcing efficiency to all activity; define specific roadmaps containing prioritization of sourcing categories as well as expanding e-procurement catalogs.
• Utilize proprietary Logic Source and proven industry best practices to collaborate with client for measurable savings, cost avoidance and competitive sourcing strategies.
