Field Expansion Manager

Overview

The Field Expansion Manager is responsible for launching and stabilizing strategic growth markets. This role establishes foundational operations, builds a local subcontractor base, and prepares the market for transition to a permanent field manager. This position is in our Leadership pipeline and will help start a new market, grow the market, train Field Managers, and eventually lead the team.

Reports To: Chief Operations Officer

Location: Charleston, SC

• Act as the primary point-of-contact for new builder relationships
• Partner with the Business Development Manager to grow the new market
• Work with cross functional groups to source and onboard local subcontractors across all scopes
• Coordinate material vendors and ensure job readiness
• Set up job tracking systems using Streamline and implement QC protocols
• Train and oversee initial labor and staffing needs
• Achieve volume and quality benchmarks to enable a successful handoff
• Manage the new market through an initial ramp-up until job flow is consistent and sustainable

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree a plus
• Demonstrated experience in a leadership capacity; previous experience in project and vendor management a plus
• Organized and efficient approach to business, with professional style and communications
• Commitment and desire to learn including construction software and other company systems
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
