Project Manager
Charleston, SC
Responsibilities- Develop and manage detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and budget.
- Lead and motivate project teams, providing clear direction and support to ensure successful project delivery.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand their needs, manage expectations, and provide regular updates on project progress.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Ensure that all project deliverables meet the required quality standards and specifications.
- Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key accomplishments, challenges, and next steps.
- Continuously evaluate and improve project management processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field; OR equivalent experience.
- An active Secret clearance.
- PMP or PgMP certification.
- Minimum 12 years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects.
- Experience utilizing agile methodologies in a software development environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities working with cross functional teams.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Office Suite including MS Project Planner, and Excel).
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to identify problems and develop effective solutions.
- Experience implementing process flows and measures.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and environments.
- Keen eye for detail to ensure all aspects of the project are considered and addressed.
- Capacity to make informed decisions based on data and stakeholder input.
- A Master’s degree in a related field is preferred.
- Agile certification such as PMI-ACP, CSM, or SAFe are highly desirable.
- Experience utilizing Jira is highly desirable.
Work in an office environment, with occasional travel required to project sites or client meetings. This role may involve working outside regular business hours to meet project deadlines.
