Join our team as a Chemical Operator in a heavy industrial environment, where you will be responsible for a variety of tasks essential to our production process.

• Pack bags of starch.
• Climb stairs and empty 50 lb bags of starch into mixers.
• Regularly sweep and clean the work area.
• Open valves on tanks.
• Operate basic touch screen controls on machines.
• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and prioritize safety.

• Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the day.
• Willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts with a schedule of 4 days on and 3 days off.
• Understanding of Standard Operating Procedures and basic manufacturing principles.

• Self-driven and hard-working attitude.
• Machine operating background is beneficial.
• Proactive in seeking additional work tasks.

The work environment is very hot and dirty, requiring comfort with such conditions. It is deadline-intensive, with a strong focus on quality. The position involves working 12-hour rotating night and day shifts, with a schedule of 4 days on and 3 days off each week. The dress code includes work pants and shirts, with hard hats and glasses provided. Steel‑toed shoes are a requirement.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charleston, SC.

The pay range for this position is $23.75 - $23.75/hr.
