2026 Summer Engineering Co‑Op (ChP/MOE5-GS)

Bosch Home Comfort USA

Location: Charleston, SC

Employment Type: Internship – Full‑time

Seniority Level: Internship

Responsibilities
  • Assist with set up of quality documents (FMEA, CP, work instructions) according to Bosch policy, regulations and procedures
  • Ensure Bosch Production System (BPS) concepts implementation starting planning phase
  • Implement quality tools in workshop (SPC, POKA YOKE, PDCA, QAM)
  • Assist in problem‑solving processes
  • Evaluate operation flow, cycle time, machines, tools and necessary materials to meet the production plan
  • Assist with projects regarding cost reduction, quality improvements and customer satisfaction
  • Implement actions to prevent occurrence of nonconformities relating to product and process through appropriate quality tools
  • Follow all plant HSE regulations and procedures
  • Support maintenance department for spare parts planning
Qualifications
  • Working toward a Bachelor degree in a technical field (Engineering degree highly preferred)
  • Experience in planning or manufacturing for high‑volume products
  • Computer skills in Excel, Word and Power Point
  • Project leadership skills, ability to prioritize workload and meet established targets
  • Willingness/ability to learn new technology and processes
  • High level of teamwork, self‑initiative, detail‑oriented, self‑motivated and ability to multi‑task in a dynamic environment
  • Use of analytical skills to solve problems
  • Experience with equipment maintenance and management (PM, TPM knowledge)
  • Good interaction skills, effective communicator (oral, written), and willingness to share information
  • Understanding of statistical capability (CpK, CgK)
