Med/Surg Registered Nurse Opportunity

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is currently assisting a client in recruiting for an experienced Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse (RN). This is an excellent opportunity for RNs who are passionate about delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to a diverse adult patient population within a collaborative healthcare environment.

As a Med/Surg RN, you will provide and coordinate direct patient care for individuals with a variety of medical and surgical conditions. This role emphasizes the full nursing process—from assessment through evaluation—while working closely with an interdisciplinary care team.

Location: Charleston, SC

Payrate: $38-$40/hr.

Shift:

Day Shift: 7:30am-8pm

Night Shift: 7:30pm-8am

Weekdays, Weekends, and Holidays Required.

• Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized patient care plans
• Preparing, administering, and documenting medications and treatments per established policies
• Monitoring patient vital signs and clinical status, identifying changes, and documenting accurately in the electronic health record
• Collaborating with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary team members (e.g., social work, physical therapy) to coordinate care, discharge planning, and transitions across the care continuum
• Educating patients and families on health conditions, treatments, self-management, and post-discharge care
• Providing supervision and guidance to nursing assistants or LPNs, as appropriate
• Operating and tracking specialized medical equipment as required

• 2 years acute care experience
• Valid license in South Carolina
• CPR/BLS certification
• COVID-19 vaccination required.
