Certified Nurse Assistant, PT Evenings (3pm-11pm)
Join the Certified Nurse Assistant, PT Evenings (3pm-11pm) team at Bishop Gadsden Episcopal Retirement Community. We offer a starting pay range of $19.00‑$22.00/hour plus shift differentials and bonus opportunities.
Typical Day- Assist licensed personnel with basic nursing care for residents.
- Provide personal care including bathing, showering, oral hygiene, skin care, hair and nail care, dressing, and shaving.
- Assist with nutritional needs, including serving meals and ensuring adequate fluid intake.
- Support restorative care such as range‑of‑motion exercises, positioning, and ambulation.
- Carry out procedures for weight, height, vital signs, specimen collection, intake, output, and catheter care as needed.
- Report resident’s condition at shift start and end, and exchange information with charge nurse.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to accomplish resident care plans.
- Accompany residents to appointments and launder personal items as required.
- Adhere to attendance, scheduling, and facility safety policies.
- Maintain professional appearance, conduct, and respect residents’ rights and HIPAA compliance.
- Certified Nurse’s Aide listed on the South Carolina Nurse Aide registry with active certification.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Experience in long‑term care for the elderly.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to communicate respectfully with residents, families, visitors, and staff.
- Ability to stand, stoop, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to sit and stand for extended periods.
