We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team at an ophthalmology surgery center in Charleston. The ideal candidate will have experience working as a registered nurse in an ophthalmology setting and be able to provide high-quality patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
Responsibilities- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in the ophthalmology surgery center
- Assisting ophthalmologists during surgical procedures
- Monitoring patients before, during, and after surgery
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
- Documenting patient care and progress
- Providing patient education and support
- Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of South Carolina
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of ophthalmic procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- This is a full-time position with the home office located in Bluffton, SC
- Travel to Hilton Head and Lady's Island is required.
