Shifts

Weekdays, weekends, and holidays required.

  • 7:30am-8:00pm
  • 7:30pm-8:00am

Qualifications
  • All Registered Nurses must have a current license in any state, territory, or commonwealth in the US or District of Columbia.
  • Must be a graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing with a bachelor's in nursing.
  • Must possess and maintain BLS certification.
  • Must have a minimum of two-years' experience (must have worked within the last six months) in a mental health setting.
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the delivery of quality, age specific healthcare; for utilizing sound clinical judgement to ensure positive patient outcomes for Veterans.
  • Assess, plans, implements, supervises, teaches, evaluates, and documents patient care.
  • Responsible for direct patient care within the behavioral health inpatient unit and facilitates the appropriate plan of care.
  • Accompany and/or transport patients to appointments or procedures as necessary.
  • Manage care by promoting positive patient outcomes including the areas of medical and psychiatric emergencies, detox (withdrawal symptoms) and patient safety.
