Job Title: Medical-Surgical Float Pool Registered Nurse (MS Float RN)

Location: Charleston, SC

Duration: Contract (Duration TBD)

Shift:

• Nights – 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) || 13 week contract

• 36 hours per week

• Weekend requirement:
Every other weekend

• Holiday rotation required

• Floating required to Medical-Surgical units at the Main Hospital and Ashley River Tower

• Provide safe and effective nursing care to adult medical-surgical patients across multiple units

• Float between assigned med-surg floors based on facility staffing needs

• Manage varying patient ratios depending on unit assignment and acuity

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, medication administration, and care coordination

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support quality patient outcomes

• Active South Carolina RN license or Compact/Multi-State RN license

• Minimum of 2 years of Medical-Surgical RN experience

• Ability to work night shifts and float between med-surg units

• First-time travelers accepted

• BLS

• Previous float pool or multi-unit experience

• Experience in a Level I Trauma or teaching hospital

• Familiarity with EPIC charting

• Local candidates accepted on a case-by-case basis at 10% less than the posted bill rate
