Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (Free Standing ER)

Charleston, SC | Free Standing Emergency Room

Contract | Days | 3x12-hour shifts, 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM | Every other weekend required

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced, stand-alone emergency room environment serving both adult and pediatric populations
• Manage a patient ratio of approximately 1:5–7, delivering timely and accurate assessments, interventions, and documentation
• Utilize Epic for all clinical charting and documentation
• Respond to and manage CVA and other acute emergency presentations
• May float to additional free-standing emergency department locations as needed based on facility demands
• During hurricane season (June–November), staff may be assigned to emergency response teams in accordance with facility protocols

• Active South Carolina RN license or Multi-State/Compact RN license
• Minimum 1 year of emergency room experience (adult and pediatric)
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
• Experience with CVA management and Epic EMR
• Must live at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; locals may be considered on a case-by-case basis
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application; approval is based on facility needs

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification
• Experience in a stand-alone or free-standing emergency department setting

• First-time travelers are welcome, making this an excellent opportunity for RNs looking to begin their travel nursing career in a dynamic ER environment
• Work in a specialized free-standing emergency room setting with the opportunity to expand clinical skills across multiple locations
