Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry (LTAC)

Travelers Rest, SC | Long Term Acute Care

Contract | Nights | 3x12 or 4x12 Hours (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Onsite

• Provide direct patient care on a Long Term Acute Care Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit during night shift hours
• Float to other units and/or campuses as needed based on census and unit needs, limited to areas where competencies have been demonstrated and documented
• Administer and manage medications using the Omnicell medication system
• Provide weekend coverage on an every-other-weekend basis, with flexibility based on unit needs
• Complete required pre-assignment modules and annual compliance requirements within designated time frames
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records using EPIC EMR

• Active South Carolina RN license
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of experience with EPIC EMR
• Minimum 1 year of experience in LTAC MS/Tele, Medical Surgical, or Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the contracted campus to be eligible (Night shift – Adult Medical Tele / Progressive Care specialty); candidates between 50–99.9 miles may be considered at a reduced rate; candidates under 50 miles are ineligible

• Prior travel nursing experience preferred; first-time travelers with strong relevant experience will be considered
• Familiarity with Omnicell medication management systems
• Experience in a Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) setting

• Pre-assignment orientation modules may be reimbursable for up to 16 hours of completed work
