ICU Neuro (Intensive Care Unit Neurological) in North Charleston, SC. This position involves providing specialized critical care to neurological ICU patients, including those with head and neck procedures, aneurysmal hemorrhages, and neurocritical treatments. The role requires working nights, every other weekend, and holidays, with a focus on advanced neurological patient management.

• Certifications:
  
  BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale
• Education/
  
  Experience:
  
  36 months RN experience, with at least one year in an ICU setting; preferred experience in a facility utilizing Meditech; ability to care for up to 1-3 ICU patients, including ventilated patients; proficiency in reading telemetry strips; advanced skills in CRRT and hemodynamics; phlebotomy and respiratory treatments outside ICU
• Schedule:
  
  Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
• Additional Responsibilities:
  Perform procedures such as post-op CABG, Impella, balloon pumps, Swan Ganz, neuro procedures for aneurysmal hemorrhage, management of EVDs, bolts, and induced hypothermia. Bedside shift report required at each transfer of care.

  Float rotation may be required
• Submission:
  Candidates are expected to be comfortable with emergency department or PCU float scenarios and possess strong skills in neuro patient care and ventilator management.
