Description:
Position requires a Free Standing ER RN.Shifts will consist of two 7 PM to 7 AM shifts and one 11 AM to 11 PM shift weekly.
The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5-7.Weekend coverage is required every other weekend.
There are no on-call requirements for this position.
Floating to other facilities may occur as needed.
First-time travelers are accepted.
The ideal candidate must have certification in ACLS, BLS, PALS, and preferred certifications include NRP and TNCC.
Experience with Epic charting is required.
Skills in the management of dysrhythmias, IV management, and care for ventilated patients are necessary.
Familiarity with isolation precautions and triage experience is essential.
Nurses should be comfortable working with a diverse patient population, including neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
The daily census is approximately 50 visits per day, in a 15-room facility with 14 beds.
Additional responsibilities may include interpretation of dysrhythmias and administering emergency medications.
