Part Time Dairy Frozen Clerk

Overview

This is a part time position. Responsible for processing/stocking products according to Dairy/Frozen standards, cleaning work areas, providing customer service, unloading stock, and reloading salvage. Perform duties of frozen food clerk when assigned.

• Process and stock products according to Dairy/Frozen standards.
• Clean work areas and maintain sanitation.
• Provide customer service and assist customers as needed.
• Unload stock and reload salvage.
• Perform duties of frozen food clerk when assigned.

• Education and/or
  
  Experience:
  
  High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• LANGUAGE
  
  SKILLS:
  
  Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English. Write simple correspondence in English. Ability to present information to customers and associates who speak English.
• MATHEMATICAL
  
  SKILLS:
  
  Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and use units of American money and weight.
• REASONING ABILITY:
  Ability to follow detailed instructions and deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
  Complete company's training including but not limited to new hire orientation, food sanitation, customer service network, safety, and product knowledge.
• PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  Stand and/or walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; taste or smell. Regularly lift and/or move up to 60 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close vision, color, and depth perception.
• WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  Cool environment (34-36 degrees Fahrenheit); may be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and chemicals; possible exposure to extreme cold in the freezer (-20 degrees Fahrenheit); noise level usually moderate to loud.
