Job OverviewResponsible for planning, executing, and tracking quality loops to ensure continuous improvement of product and process quality. This role systematically monitors recurring quality issues, coordinates corrective actions, and verifies effectiveness through performance checks and audits. Works closely with cross‑functional teams to close quality loops and drive sustainable improvements.
Responsibilities- Track and manage quality loops by identifying, documenting, and following up on recurring quality issues
- Plan and conduct performance checks and audits to verify the effectiveness of corrective actions
- Develop and maintain tracking systems for quality loops, ensuring transparency and timely closure
- Define top issues per quality loop, drive corrective actions throughout the departments and track effectiveness of the improvements
- Prepare and present regular reports on quality loops to local and divisional stakeholders
- Align quality loop processes with ISO
9001 and Mercedes-Benz Vans global standards - Support the development and training of quality team members in quality loop management
- Facilitate cross‑functional meetings to review open quality loops and drive action plans
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment in all quality areas
- Participate in regular team meetings and support company leadership values
- Identify opportunities to improve quality loop processes and overall product quality
- Will perform other duties as assigned

- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or similar, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field preferred or equivalent
- 3–5 years of experience in a similar professional role in production and quality in automotive manufacturing
- Able to perform the essential functions of the job
- Intermediate computer skills required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), regular email use, and ability to use other programs and equipment in the quality department
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to professionally network with MBV departments, corporate R&D HQ and quality departments within Van division
- German language proficiency strongly preferred. Spanish is a plus
- Profound knowledge in area of product engineering process and quality/measurement systems preferred
- Experience with audit coordination, defect remedy, and corrective action processes
