Medtronic offers a part‑time Affera Mapping Specialist role (3 days a week, 24 hours/week). The position is remote, but requires the candidate to reside within the territory, maintain a valid driver’s license, and drive to multiple accounts throughout the region.

• Provide clinical and technical support and training to physicians and staff on the EP mapping and navigation system and all CAS products.
• Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel and office staff on technical matters related to CAS products and procedures.
• Promote safe and effective use of Medtronic CAS products and related procedures.
• Support national, regional and territory sales objectives to achieve or exceed sales goals within all CAS products.
• Develop and cultivate customer relationships that result in incremental business.
• Work in partnership with Account Manager, Regional Manager and Area Directors to identify potential sales opportunities.
• Collaborate and strategize with the local sales team to conduct customer training for mapping and other CA Solutions products.
• Collaborate and communicate with the sales and clinical teams in the region.
• Serve as an effective Medtronic CAS representative to physicians and support staff regarding Medtronic CAS products, service and support.
• Serve as a regional champion to share experience and influence others to be proficient in mapping technology.

• High school diploma + at least 10 years of related work experience in cardiac mapping and navigation, OR
• Associate degree + at least 8 years of related work experience in cardiac mapping and navigation, OR
• Bachelor degree + at least 6 years of related work experience in cardiac mapping and navigation.

• B.A./B.S. in nursing, cardiovascular, life sciences, or technical discipline with minimum 4 years work experience in the cardiac field, hospital/clinic or sales.
• Proven track record with technical training assignments.
• Experience in the cardiac catheter ablation field, EP lab, or EP medical sales providing technical/clinical support.
• Ability to travel more than 25% of the time.

• Environmental exposure to infectious disease and radiation.
• Must be within assigned territory each day to be available for unscheduled needs.
• Occasional travel outside the territory, including overnight stays.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to freely move throughout the facility, use a phone, keyboard and mouse, and visually interact with personal computers.
• Must be able to stand/sit/walk for 8 hours a day.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

Competitive salary range for U.S. (excluding PR): $87,000 – $93,000 USD. Eligible for Sales Incentive Plan (SIP).
