Senior Postdoctoral Researcher – Overview

The Senior Postdoctoral Researcher will play a key leadership role in advancing ongoing research programs in musculoskeletal biology and tissue regeneration. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in bioinformatics, musculoskeletal histology, and molecular biology, combined with demonstrated ability to lead and mentor trainees in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities
  • 20%:
    Lead and conduct independent and collaborative research projects focused on musculoskeletal tissue development, regeneration, and disease modeling.
  • 20%:
    Perform advanced bioinformatics analyses, including transcriptomic, single-cell, and spatial omics data interpretation to support mechanistic discoveries.
  • 20%:
    Manage daily laboratory operations, including experimental design, data management, and compliance with institutional and safety protocols.
  • 15%:
    Oversee and execute musculoskeletal histology, immunohistochemistry, and imaging studies to evaluate tissue architecture and cellular dynamics.
  • 10%:
    Supervise and mentor PhD students, junior postdoctoral fellows, and research staff, fostering an inclusive, productive, and scientifically rigorous environment.
  • 10%:
    Contribute to manuscript preparation, grant writing, and dissemination of findings at national and international meetings.
  • 5%:
    Collaborate closely with clinical and engineering teams to integrate multi-scale biological and computational data.
