Main is hiring for a full-time Mechanic at our Charleston, SC location.

• Diagnose and repair problems from start to finish on a variety of vehicles, including engines (gasoline and diesel), hydraulic systems, and forklifts.
• Properly diagnose and repair issues across all aspects of the vehicles and equipment covered by the role.
• Adhere to safety and quality standards and follow verbal directions from supervision with or without close supervision.

• Five years (5) verified experience as a mechanic.
• Forklift training/certification is a plus (additional training will be required once hired for those using a forklift).
• Proficient in the use of basic electrical meters and test equipment.
• High level of critical thinking and troubleshooting ability.
• Ability to understand and obey all posted warning, caution, notification and/ or hazard signs on a job site.
• Must submit to drug testing and E-Verification of right to work in the US.
• Reliable transportation.
• Adherence to safety and quality standards.
• EPA 609 MVAC Certification is desirable.

No overtime is guaranteed, but some projects may require overtime. This could exceed 40 hours during a normal Monday through Friday work week.
