Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a skilled VRF Technician to support a well-known commercial and industrial HVAC system provider out of Charleston, SC. The VRF Technician will be responsible for repairing, maintaining and installing VRF systems for multiple manufacturers. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a growing market in South Carolina!
Responsibilities- Perform diagnostics, repair, and maintenance on VRF systems from manufacturers
- Diagnose and repair VRF systems from major manufacturers
- Troubleshoot control wiring, sensors, and inverter boards using OEM tools
- Commission and start up new VRF installations, ensuring proper setup
- Use manufacturer software for system monitoring and performance tuning
- Detect and fix refrigerant leaks; perform pressure tests and recharge systems
- Document system performance and recommend efficiency improvements
- 2+ years of experience performing diagnostics, repair and maintenance on VRF systems
- Experience working with LG, Mitsubishi, Daikin, Samsung, Trane or other appliances
- Confidence with VRF systems from manufacturers
- Provide on-site technical training and guidance to less experienced technicians and customers on VRF operation and maintenance.
- Salary range: $95,000 - $110,000
