Lead Elevator Service Technician

As a Lead Elevator Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining, repairing, and installing new elevators for mainly residential and light commercial clients. Responsibilities
  • Perform regular maintenance and safety inspections on elevator systems.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Install new elevator systems in residential and commercial buildings.
  • Respond to emergency service calls and conduct after-hours repairs as needed.
  • Maintain detailed service records and reports.
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing client concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Stay updated on industry standards and advancements in elevator technology.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical problems.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
  • Collaborate with team members and provide training to junior technicians.
  • Conduct routine testing to ensure optimal performance and reliability of elevator systems.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and efficiency.
Qualifications
  • Strong background in electrical or mechanical work.
  • Willingness to obtain elevator-specific certifications (training provided).
  • Prior experience with elevator systems is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Flexibility to handle on-call or after-hours work as needed.
  • Familiarity with electrical circuits, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks involving lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Commitment to adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a safe work environment.
