Lead Elevator Service Technician

As a Lead Elevator Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining, repairing, and installing new elevators for mainly residential and light commercial clients. Responsibilities- Perform regular maintenance and safety inspections on elevator systems.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
- Install new elevator systems in residential and commercial buildings.
- Respond to emergency service calls and conduct after-hours repairs as needed.
- Maintain detailed service records and reports.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing client concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
- Stay updated on industry standards and advancements in elevator technology.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical problems.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
- Collaborate with team members and provide training to junior technicians.
- Conduct routine testing to ensure optimal performance and reliability of elevator systems.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and efficiency.
- Strong background in electrical or mechanical work.
- Willingness to obtain elevator-specific certifications (training provided).
- Prior experience with elevator systems is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Flexibility to handle on-call or after-hours work as needed.
- Familiarity with electrical circuits, schematics, and blueprints.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Physical ability to perform tasks involving lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Commitment to adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a safe work environment.
- Full - Time, guaranteed 40 hours per week
