Jenkins Plumbing Company is looking for a dependable and experienced  
** Service / Warranty Technician
** to join our team. This position is responsible for handling residential plumbing service and warranty calls, troubleshooting plumbing concerns, completing repairs, and addressing punch-list items while providing excellent customer service.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while representing Jenkins Plumbing Company professionally in customers’ homes and on job sites.  ##

Job Responsibilities
* Respond to assigned service and warranty calls in a timely and professional manner.
* Diagnose plumbing issues and determine the appropriate repair or corrective action.
* Perform warranty repairs on residential plumbing systems, fixtures, piping, water heaters, faucets, toilets, drains, and other plumbing components.
* Complete punch-list items and correct deficiencies identified during inspections, walkthroughs, or warranty requests.
* Troubleshoot leaks, drainage issues, water pressure concerns, fixture problems, and other plumbing-related issues.
* Repair or replace defective plumbing materials and equipment as needed.
* Review work orders and ensure assigned work is completed accurately and efficiently.
* Communicate professionally with homeowners, builders, supervisors, office staff, and other team members.
* Explain completed repairs and any necessary follow-up to customers when appropriate.
* Document work performed, materials used, and any additional repairs or follow-up needed.
* Maintain company tools, equipment, and assigned vehicle in clean and safe working condition.
* Maintain adequate inventory of commonly used service and repair materials.
* Follow company safety procedures and applicable plumbing codes.
* Maintain a clean and professional work area while working in customers’ homes and on job sites.
* Perform additional service, warranty, and plumbing-related duties as assigned.  ## Qualifications
* Previous residential plumbing experience preferred.
* Service, warranty, or new-construction plumbing experience preferred.
* Strong knowledge of residential plumbing systems, fixtures, piping, and repairs.
* Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing problems independently.
* Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Ability to manage multiple service calls and prioritize work effectively.
* Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented.
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and plumbing-related equipment.
* Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required for positions operating a company vehicle.## Preferred Skills
* Residential new-construction plumbing experience.
* Warranty and service repair experience.
* Experience completing punch-list and inspection correction work.
* Experience working directly with homeowners and builders.
* Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.  ##
