A Day in the Life of a Junior Software Developer at Bracari

• You will work closely with a dedicated and talented team of software developers, quality engineers, requirements analysts, testers, and project managers.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, or equivalent technical discipline; or 2-4 years of prior relevant experience in one of those fields.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Federal clearance.
• Strong software development skills, including design, development, testing, deployment and support.
• Excellent communication (written and verbal), time management, interpersonal and team participation.
• Ability to rapidly assimilate new technologies and be able to communicate effectively with various teams.

• Active VA or DOD clearance
• Active PIV card

• Strong analytical skills and ability to handle diverse tasking.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Attention to details under tight deadline constraints.
• Excellent relationship building skills and sound interpersonal skills, while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
• Ability to take initiative and the desire to learn new skills quickly.
• Familiarity with SDLC methodologies, best practice standards for creating User Stories, Business Requirements Documents, Interface Control Documents, and Change Requests
• Experience with relational databases
• Detail oriented, able to prioritize, multitask, meet deadlines, and coordinate schedules with others
• Strong documentation, process, and organizational skills
• Strong knowledge of software development standards and best practices
• Troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Follow existing source code management and version control processes for all coding efforts
• Ability to create, analyze, design, develop, test, troubleshoot, optimize, enhance and maintain interfaces in various formats between application systems.
• Ability to design and develop ETL transformations and mappings (extracting, transforming and loading data) from a variety of data formats and structures into enterprise-scale databases.
