We are looking for an entry level Civil Engineer with experience and enthusiasm to join our Water Resources team in Charleston, WV. As a member of the team, you will drive profitability, work on a variety of projects and collaborate with a team of like‑minded professionals. Responsibilities
  • Create technical drawing and plans for permitting and construction of water resource projects which include design, layout, grading, drainage and erosion and sediment controls.
  • Provide technical support during construction activities, including reviewing plans.
  • Prepare cost estimates for all water resource projects.
  • Technical report writing.
  • Collaborate with engineers to design optimal plans for clients.
  • Work with construction inspection personnel, as required, to assure that contracted work accomplishes the intent of the design.
  • Operate independently within a deadline driven industry.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited program (required).
  • EI/EIT certification (desired but not required).
  • 0–4 years of related water/wastewater experience.
  • Software experience with Microsoft Office, Auto Cad, Civil 3D (desired but not required).
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Ability to participate in periodic day travel (required).
