Nature of Work: Under close supervision, learn the methods of processing benefit applications. Determine eligibility for and manage Trials for SNAP, Medicaid programs, Emergency Assistance/LIEAP, and School Clothing Vouchers. Use department software to administer a demanding caseload, adhere to complex eligibility policies, conduct client interviews, analyze financial and social information, and address repayment of misissued assistance. Perform related duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Training: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Two (2) years of paid experience providing direct client services (e.g., interviewing clients or evaluating data against standards) or two (2) years of paid experience in customer service, telemarketing, retail, or clerical work.
- Substitution: Completion of coursework at a regionally accredited college or university may substitute for the required experience at a rate of one (1) year of experience for every thirty (30) credit hours of education.
- Special Requirement: A valid driver’s license may be required.
