Position: Oracle Planning (EPM) Solution Lead

What You’ll Do

We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle Fusion EPM Solution Lead with expertise in Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) solutions, specifically focusing on Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (EPBCS) and Enterprise Data Management Cloud Service (EDMCS). The ideal candidate will also have a good understanding of Account Reconciliation Cloud Service (ARCS) and Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud Service (FCCS).

Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Solution Architecture & Design: Design and implement Oracle Fusion EPM solutions, with a primary focus on EPBCS and EDMCS.
  • Implementation & Optimization: Lead the implementation of any new features within Oracle EPM modules, ensuring best practices and optimal configurations. Identify performance bottlenecks and recommend system improvements.
  • Integration & Data Management: Ensure seamless data flow between Oracle EPM and other enterprise systems. Develop integration strategies using middleware tools such as Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Oracle SOA Suite, or APIs. Some basic knowledge of Groovy scripts is a plus. Establish data governance policies to maintain data integrity and compliance.
  • Compliance & Security: Implement role‑based access controls (RBAC) and security best practices. Support audits and ensure financial data accuracy.

    Collaboration:

    Work closely with finance, IT, and business leaders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Provide technical leadership to development teams and vendors. Conduct user training and support change management initiatives.
Who You’ll Work With

Join our Information Technology team supporting the Oracle Fusion ecosystem, where you'll drive architectural decisions, application roadmaps, maintenance, and execution. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to optimize operations and achieve business goals. This role reports to the Sr. Director of Technology, leading our Oracle Fusion practice.

What Makes You a Qualified Candidate
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in Oracle EPM architecture and implementation.
  • Design and implement Oracle Fusion EPM solutions, with a primary focus on EPBCS and EDMCS.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications.
  • Develop and optimize Groovy scripts to enhance application functionality and performance.
  • Utilize EPM Automate for efficient deployment and administration of EPM Cloud applications.
  • Provide guidance and best practices for integrating EPM solutions with existing enterprise systems.
  • Implementing monthly metadata maintenance including working with a parallel FCC resource to keep EPB and PCM systems aligned.
  • Ensuring data accuracy and integrity in the Planning systems. This includes agreement of data to other systems. Reconciliation and (if necessary) correction of data are significant parts of the role.
  • Interfacing data into the Planning systems from Oracle Cloud ERP and FCC.
  • Setting up, opening and closing Oracle EPB for forecasts timetables, managing processes and monitoring system performance during these events.
  • Managing Oracle EPB security (user, metadata, versioning etc.).
  • Experience in maintaining and supporting Oracle EPB applications and enhancements to planning artifacts – dimensions, load rules, business rules, calc scripts, MDX, ASO cubes etc.
  • Experience with Management Reports (MR) and Smart View.
  • Knowledge of Agentic AI is a big plus.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops for end‑users and stakeholders.
