Job Summary

Designs, develops, implements, supports, and enables Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) architecture and technology solutions to meet business capabilities and needs. Ensures completeness and integrity of GRC solutions architecture by addressing stakeholders’ concerns, reconciling conflicting viewpoints, and demonstrating trade‑offs. Leverages industry, business, technology, risk, and compliance knowledge to enable and improve business processes, practices, organizations, and systems. Supports collaboration across the enterprise to consolidate data repositories, GRC tools, and technology resources under a common GRC solutions umbrella.

Adheres to service levels, prepares reporting, maintains quality standards, and supports the realization of measurable business benefits. Works independently and in cross‑functional teams while assisting with special assignments as needed.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Defines, designs, and continuously improves business processes, risk, and compliance functions through technology. Develops and configures enterprise risk, governance, compliance, and business solutions that integrate knowledge of business processes, technology options, regulatory requirements, and facilitation techniques. Collaborates with customers, staff, IT colleagues, and stakeholders to identify requirements, assess impacts, compare options, and recommend solutions. Takes initiative and demonstrates a proactive mindset in a matrixed environment.
  • Specifies and designs GRC technology systems, solutions, networks, infrastructure elements, and processes. Assists in selecting appropriate design standards, methods, and tools, ensuring effective application. Evaluates impact analysis on design and implementation options. Develops approaches and consults with others to balance functional, service‑quality, and systems‑management requirements. Tests and validates system configurations and collaborates with stakeholders to maintain and improve data quality.
  • Works with customers to establish, conceptualize, and align expectations focused on GRC process automation; facilitates requirements evaluation and rationalization; translates expectations into written artifacts. Assists with project plans, task‑based budgets, and milestones. Communicates project status reports to business, technical stakeholders, and senior leadership. Executes data access governance processes, procedures, and review activities including user profile and provisioning updates.
  • Performs detailed component requirements gathering and analysis; translates these into detailed solutions/designs for implementation using selected products. Documents technical aspects of development, configuration, testing, integration, change requests, and project artifacts using standard templates. Assists with upgrades, testing, and solution validation.
  • Communicates effectively across multiple levels of the organization; manages customer, partner, and management expectations. Performs customer walkthroughs, timelines, plans, design and technical walkthroughs, training, problem resolution, and decision‑making activities.
  • Maintains current knowledge of technical aspects in the expertise area and advises on GRC technology and process solutions. Assists with commercialization opportunities for future growth.
  • Researches, creates, and implements novel training and education approaches for GRC process automation, digital transformation, and technology enablement. Applies relevant technical and business strategies, policies, standards, and practices to multiple work products. Contributes to knowledge‑management repositories and communities of practice.

Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Substitutions
  • 6 years of related and progressive experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
Preferred
  • Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Experience

  • 3 years with Governance, Risk, and Compliance technology, preferably in healthcare or a related industry.
