Machine Technician & Systems Engineer ( Regular Full-Time Hourly )

Location: Owatonna, MN

Schedule: 40 hours per week;
Monday to Friday from 6 PM to 3 AM, with possible overtime and weekends.

Compensation: Minimum full-time starting pay is $20 per hour plus additional pay as stated by state law. Benefits eligible effective on hire date. Benefits information.

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• One (1) year experience in a related production position preferred but not required.

• Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment preferred.
• Ability to produce high level of quality required.

• Operate all department machines.
• Make operating adjustments to equipment as trained.
• Maintain logs and keep records as directed.
• Work cooperatively in a team environment to process materials or documents.
• Wear necessary protective clothing and equipment as required.
• Perform tasks involving lifting and/or loading of materials.
• Maintain work area in neat, orderly, and safe manner.
• May perform higher classified work on an occasional basis for training purposes.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Support other departments as assigned.

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and move pallets of material with a pallet jack.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time and push loaded carts of 650 lbs; frequent bending and twisting required.
• Must be able to push and load 1,200 lb or heavier roll forms around.

• Work occasionally requires situations where extreme caution must be observed.
• Environment may produce higher than normal noise levels and airborne dust particles.
• Work may require off-shift or irregular working hours to assure minimal disruption.
