Medical Surgical/Oncology RN - Night Shift Location Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00), every other weekend required.

We are seeking an experienced Medical Surgical/Oncology RN to provide compassionate care to adult patients battling cancer and other medical conditions. The role requires effective family education on oncological processes and involves various responsibilities tailored to the needs of palliative care patients.

• Provide clinical care to medical, surgical, and oncology patients.
• Educate patients and families on the oncological processes and palliative care options.
• Assist with procedures such as bone marrow aspirations and management of Pleurx chest tubes.
• Administer chemotherapy and manage central lines and ports.
• Ensure safe administration of blood products and PCA pumps.
• Monitor telemetry patients and respond to their immediate healthcare needs.

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a similar setting.
• WV or Compact RN License required (can accept pending applications).
• Certification in BLS and, preferably, ONS/ONCC.
• Experience with telemetry and administration of chemotherapy preferred.
