Human Edge is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel contract at a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) facility in Charleston, West Virginia. This is a great opportunity to make a real impact in a clinical environment dedicated to high-quality, complex care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver and oversee quality patient care by executing and managing the nursing care plan.

• Supervise LPNs, CNAs, and orientees.

• Complete comprehensive patient assessments within 8 hours of admission and develop individualized care plans.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and communicate effectively across shifts.

• Provide education and initiate discharge planning from day one.

• Ensure accurate, timely documentation and uphold safety protocols across all clinical practices.

• Maintain and promote a positive, efficient work environment through teamwork and professional development.

• May assume charge nurse responsibilities when needed.
Requirements:

• Active RN license (WV or compact)

• Minimum 1 year of recent acute or LTAC experience preferred

• BLS certification (ACLS preferred)

• Strong documentation and team communication skills

• Ability to supervise, delegate, and problem-solve effectively
