Job Requirements
- At least 2 years of bedside clinical experience in a hospital or healthcare setting
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, as required
- Ability to provide safe, respectful, and patient-centered care
- Strong communication, teamwork, organization, and clinical documentation skills
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and follow attendance and punctuality standards
- Commitment to HIPAA, infection prevention, patient safety, and workplace safety guidelines
- Perform routine patient care and bedside nursing assistant tasks under the general supervision of a Registered Nurse
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, positioning, mobility, and other comfort needs
- Observe patients and promptly communicate changes in condition or care concerns to the nursing team
- Accurately document patient care provided in accordance with established procedures
- Follow safe patient-handling practices and identify and report potential hazards
- Support infection prevention, fall prevention, and other patient and employee safety initiatives
- Assist with meal service by preparing, delivering, and retrieving trays according to prescribed diets
- Help patients make appropriate menu selections while considering diet orders, allergies, sensitivities, and preferences
- Communicate patient care and nutrition-related concerns to the appropriate department
- Attend required in‑services and team meetings and perform other duties as assigned
