Must have ACT Activated Clotting Time experience. Must be experienced in direct fresh open-heart admissions from OR. Must have cardiac surgery skills, Swan-Ganz management, Impella monitoring, and CRRT experience.
Description:
The role involves providing nursing care in a critical care environment. The nurse will care for patients post-cardiac surgery, including CABGs and valve replacements. The nurse must effectively monitor hemodynamic status and manage arterial pressures. The position requires experience with CRRT and care for ventilated patients. Care coordination with interdisciplinary teams is essential. Attention to detail in medication administration and patient assessments is critical.
The nurse will participate in procedures such as chest tube insertion and management. Involvement in managing patients with complex cardiac conditions is expected. The position includes accountability for patient safety and quality of care. Candidates must demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
