Job Opportunity – Med-Surg Telemetry RN – West Virginia

Start Date: November 12, 2026

Location: Charleston, West Virginia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, weekdays with every other weekend rotation; float pool participation within scope as needed; 36 hours guaranteed weekly

Highlights:

• 32-bed medical-surgical telemetry unit serving cardiac, vascular, surgical, pulmonary, and telemetry patients
• Major Level IV Trauma Center and teaching hospital with 838 staffed beds
• Cerner electronic medical record system
• Orientation held every other Thursday with 16 hours of onboarding
• First-time travelers accepted if all experience requirements are met
• Free parking provided for travelers

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years RN experience required
• Minimum 1 year in-specialty (Med-Surg or Telemetry) experience required
• West Virginia or Compact RN license (pending license accepted for submission)
• Current BLS/BCLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)
• Flu vaccine required during flu season (October 1 – March 31) unless medical exemption documented
• Must reside 100+ miles from facility (75-99 miles considered case-by-case)
• Minimum 2 manager or charge nurse references from past 2 years
