American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift position requiring 2 years of RN experience and WV or compact licensure.

• 5W Med/Surg Tele unit with 32 beds
• Patient population includes cardiac, vascular, surgical, pulmonary, and telemetry cases
• Night shift, 3x12 hours (7p-7a), weekdays with every other weekend required
• Floating required within scope as needed
• Orientation held every other Thursday

• Active WV or compact RN license required (pending license accepted for consideration)
• 2 years of RN experience required, including 1 year in-specialty experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 Manager or Charge Nurse references from the past 2 years required
• Driver's license and SSN required for consideration

• Level IV Trauma Center and major teaching hospital, member of the Council of Teaching Hospitals and Health Systems (COTH)
• Uses Cerner charting system
• Royal blue/white scrubs required for RNs
• Flu vaccine required during flu season (October 1–March 31) unless medical exemption is documented; not required outside this window
• Free parking provided for travelers
• First-time travelers accepted if experience requirements are met
• Former permanent employees must wait 2 years from last permanent employment date before returning as a traveler
• Current employees of the Vandalia Health System (including CAMC, Mon Health, and affiliated hospitals) are not eligible for travel contracts within the system
• Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility; those within 75–100 miles may be considered case-by-case
• Manager cannot guarantee blocked schedule requests
• RTO requests must be disclosed and discussed with the manager during interview
