Part-Time Kennel Technicians
Do you love animals and want to make a difference in their lives? Putnam County Animal Shelter is currently hiring part-time Kennel Technicians to join our team!
We are having open interviews on Wednesday, January 14th from 10am-2pm.
Please bring your driver’s license or .
Duties- Cleaning and maintaining kennels and shelter areas
- Feeding and watering animals
- Assisting with daily care, enrichment, and handling of dogs and cats
- Laundry and general shelter upkeep
- Working as part of a team to ensure a safe, clean, and compassionate environment
- Must be reliable and hardworking
- Ability to work weekends and holidays
- Comfortable handling animals of all sizes and temperaments
- Ability to perform physical tasks (lifting, bending, standing for extended periods)
- Prior animal care experience is a plus, but not required
