This is an entry level position with the opportunity to advance your HVAC career.

Our Parts Runner is responsible for delivering and picking up parts, materials, and supplies, ensuring timely and accurate transportation in order to provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers by meeting customer needs and commitments through delivering external customer orders and ensuring customer satisfaction and retention. Will also be responsible for loading and unloading of inventory, delivery via our trucks, and warehouse administration.

• Pick up and/or deliver parts, tools, and equipment to job site locations, including vendors, customers, and service departments. Ensure timely delivery and pickup of parts as required
• Load and unload shipment of parts, supplies, and equipment as needed
• Process incoming scrap and recycle materials in accordance with Company policy
• Deliver/dispose of recycled material as needed
• Assist with delivery of Quarterly filter orders, assist in maintaining inventory levels by restocking parts, organizing the warehouse, and keeping track of parts and supplies
• Help with miscellaneous office maintenance and repairs, including but not limited to, snow removal, simple plumbing, light replacement, etc
• Assist on-site/on-job technicians as needed
• Possess knowledge of HVAC equipment

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Technical school with a certificate in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning is a plus
• Valid WV Class D Non-CDL for Hire driver’s license with excellent record. Must maintain clean drug screens and background checks
• Current DOT physical for Class D
• Computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required
• Previous experience in a parts runner or similar role is preferred but not always required. Familiarity with automotive parts and equipment is a plus

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced team environment meeting deadlines
• Reasoning, organization, dependability, confidentiality expected
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, the ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers, follow instructions correctly, ability to prioritize tasks, and use GPS software/system when needed
• Attendance:
  Must arrive and be prepared to start at scheduled time, be prompt and communicate when arrival will not be as expected
• The job requires driving to many locations in a company vehicle, with occasional out of town trips
• The company provides a uniform that must be worn
• Approximately 20% of working time is in a heated warehouse area or office environment
• Frequent interpersonal contacts with managers, supervisors, and associates
• Includes occasionally working around electricity, machinery, noise and hazardous chemicals

• Ability to regularly lift and move 25 pounds, frequently lift and move 50 pounds and occasionally lift and move more than 100 pounds
• Requires long periods of driving or forklift operation
