POSITION SUMMARY

The Pharmacy Manager , Pharmacy Practice & Operations is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing pharmacy operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving excellence in clinical practice.

The rolegoes beyond the traditional Pharmacist in Charge by integrating operational execution, team leadership, and strategic alignment with organizational goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead daily pharmacy operations with a focus on safety, accuracy, and efficiency.

• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including Board of Pharmacy requirements.

• Serve as the designated Pharmacist in Charge (PIC),maintaininglicensure and regulatory standards.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams tooptimizefulfillmentworkflows and inventory management.

• Mentor and develop pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

• Implement andmonitorquality assurance programs to ensure high standards of patient care and fulfillment accuracy.

• Support strategic initiatives that enhance pharmacy services, operational scalability, and customer satisfaction.

• Act as a liaison between pharmacy operations and corporate leadership, contributing insights and recommendations.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Additional Responsibilities including Patient Management.

• Establish and manage delivery services for all patients.

• Develop andmaintainclinical monitoring programs for alltherapies,patients, and accreditation programsasappropriate.

• Coordinate start of care with nurse/physician.

• Participate withnursesand physiciansin the development and revisionofpatient plansof care.

• Participate in multidisciplinary patient care conferences.

• Participating in the Strategic Improvement Plan (Performance Improvement Plan).

• Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, information technology, engineering, or related field; equivalent experience accepted.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in pharmacy operations, informatics, or automation systems management.
• Proven success coordinating technology initiatives in a regulated pharmacy fulfillment environment.
• Experience supporting pharmacy management systems (e.g., Epic, Enterprise Rx, Pioneer Rx, Parata, Script Pro, or similar).
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Travel to alternate pharmacy sites, conferences, and meetings as needed, typically
