Production Manager, Operations Manager
Overview
CTDI is a large-scale Engineering, Repair, and Logistics company serving major wireless, high-speed Internet, and cable providers. The production supervisor coordinates and assigns the activities of production workers, ensures targets are met, maintains quality standards, and drives P&L results. This role supervises production operations within an assigned area or shift.
Responsibilities- Supervise workers that operate production machinery, assemble items, perform quality control, or package goods for shipment.
- Schedule and assign tasks, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Meet or exceed daily KPIs with accurate reporting and customer-focused results.
- Deliver clear information during shift transitions and prepare the next shift for success.
- Provide first-level support for escalated issues during the work shift.
- Maintain consistent production quality by monitoring departmental performance metrics.
- Communicate effectively with management and customers to meet SLAs and resolve issues promptly.
- Engage in employee relations initiatives and promptly address employee concerns to maintain a positive work environment.
- Assist in P&L forecasting and analysis, including labor planning and scheduling.
- Prepare and administer daily performance feedback and reporting as required.
- Coordinate workflow to ensure adequate inventory and staffing to meet demand.
- Provide training, motivation, and support to employees regarding procedures and development opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards for a safe working environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- 1+ years of leadership experience; materials/distribution environment preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and continuous improvement mindset.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to prioritize multiple projects.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with effective verbal and written communication.
- Professional interaction with customers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
- Experience in high-volume distribution, manufacturing, technical service (testing and repair), or forward logistics operations.
- Experience supervising temporary staff.
- Experience with UKG and Kronos; knowledge of OSHA standards is a plus.
- Associate degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
